Join Sewing Room Owner, Jennifer Serr, for a week of Couture Sewing!

Have you ever wanted to create your own evening gown, make a bustier that fits your body or sew a French Couture jacket? This is your opportunity to sew something fancy. Over the course of this 5 day intensive, you will work with Jennifer, learning new and special sewing techniques while creating a garment that fits your body. Sewing demonstrations will be given each day as well as unique direction for your individual project.

This is a high level sewing class for experienced stitchers. Prior sewing experience is a given and patience is necessary as there will be an abundance of hand work involved.

Prior to running The Sewing Room, Jennifer had her own Couture Bridal business, making one of a kind wedding gowns for brides of all ages and sizes. She also worked as a technical designer and fit specialist in the garment industry for over 20 years.

Students will need to purchase their project prior to class. They will need Fabric, Pattern, Trims and interlinings related to the projects they are working on. Jennifer will have some of these materials on hand for purchase. Please reach out if you have any questions about materials.

This course may be cancelled for a full refund up to two weeks in advance. Between 2 weeks and 48 hours only credit will be given. There will be no refunds or credits given without 48 hours notice.
