About
This class requires an Apple (MacOS) or PC (Windows OS) computer...and a Google Account. The use of a computer mouse, not a laptop trackpad, is strongly recommended.
Creating viable and memorable websites has never been easier! Using modern HTML editors such as Wix or Squarespace, web designers no longer require years of learning and practicing coding to be able to create a fully functioning website. These platforms finally allow designers to spend more time on the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) than troubleshooting. Students will first spend time planning through a wireframe, coming up with a layout for their website, then proceed to obtaining assets and building their website with both UI and UX in mind. Whether building a blog, a store, or a portfolio site, students will come out of this program with the tools to create a great looking and well-functioning website.
Digital Dragon will be offering your class through an online platform called Zoom. There are a few things you will need to do before participating in class.
Task 1: Visit the following link--it should prompt you to download Zoom.
https://zoom.us/support/download Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll need to run and install the software.
Task 2: Please test your Zoom audio before class. See here for a how-to on that: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362283-Testing-Computer-or-Device-Audio
